MMTPS was contracted to design and execute a secure crating solution for a confidential prototype automobile developed by a major automotive manufacturer. In addition to protecting the vehicle during handling and transportation, the packaging solution had to fully conceal the prototype and support the client’s confidentiality requirements at every stage of the process.

MMTPS designed and constructed a reinforced, fully enclosed crate specifically for the prototype vehicle. The crate prevented external visibility, protected the automobile from transportation stresses, and incorporated secure access controls to reduce the risk of unauthorized entry or tampering.
The vehicle’s regulated hazardous materials components were evaluated, documented, marked, and prepared in accordance with the applicable transportation requirements. This allowed the security and packaging plan to be integrated with the shipment’s regulatory compliance needs.
A limited project team handled the receiving, unloading, crating, loading, and transfer of the prototype. Controlled access and chain-of-custody procedures maintained accountability and minimized unnecessary exposure throughout the project.
