Our team visited the site to assess the shipment and identify the primary source of the odor. Working closely with the airline, we established the packaging and acceptance requirements for the cargo.
MMTPS developed a custom vapor-wrap system using multiple barrier materials to contain the odor during transportation. The packaging configuration was refined through testing and designed to satisfy applicable air cargo handling requirements.
We conducted on-site testing to validate odor containment and shipment integrity. After the packaging system demonstrated effective performance, the dried fish were wrapped using the finalized vapor-wrap configuration.
The completed shipment was presented to the airline’s pilot for inspection. The effectiveness of the odor-containment system was demonstrated, and the cargo was approved for transportation.
